Board Members Seek Election

Julie Eisenhauer, Chairman of the Nominating Committee, is pleased to present the nominations for Board Members seeking election for vacant positions. Nominations for the vacancies may also be made by a petition signed by a minimum of 1% of the membership of the eligible voting members of the credit union. If there is more than one nominee per open position, an election by mail ballot will be held. However, the election will not be conducted and there will be no nominations from the floor when there is only one nominee for each position.

All nominations by petition must be sent to the attention of the Credit Union Secretary via registered or certified mail and received no later than Monday, February 09, 2026.

An official petition form and candidate resume form may be obtained by writing to:
First Community Credit Union, Attn: Secretary, Board of Directors PO Box 840129, Houston TX 77284-0129.

The following nominees by the committee have met all qualifications to be elected to the First Community Credit Union Board of Directors. Personal statements regarding their candidacy are below.

SCOTT CLANTON

Having been a member for most of my life and providing Professional Design Services for FCCU for over 27 years, I've enjoyed a very close and personal relationship with FCCU. In addition, my professional experience with other financial institutions affords a varied perspective of operations and ideas. It is a wonderful opportunity to learn and participate in another facet of FCCU. It would be an honor to join the board and be part of FCCU's growth.

DR. STEVEN WALKER

First Community Credit Union has been an integral part of my life since my youth when my mother opened my first personal checking account. From a young age with FCCU, at the core, I learned the basics of fiscal responsibility, lessons that have carried over into my adulthood. Despite a lot of change since those days, FCCU has remained a constant in my life. Serving as a board member would allow me a unique opportunity to give back to an organization that has provided invaluable support to me through the years.

DOUGLAS WILCHER

I've been a credit union member for twenty years plus and prior to my retirement I worked with several credit unions as a Benefits and Retirement Plan consultant. This gives me perspective both as a member of and as a business partner to credit unions. My experience as a small business owner gives me an understanding of the challenges facing that portion of our member community.

Events of the past few years have dramatically illustrated the need for credit unions as alternative financial institutions who exist to serve members, not equity investors. There is a great story to tell, and credit unions need to make sure that their voice is heard.
